Description
Romb Lamp Design Broberg & Ridderstrale by Pholc
The Romb lamp was designed by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstrale for the Swedish company Pholc. The lamp originated from experimenting with rippled cardboard to develop shapes for architectural projects. The shape, a rhombus, quickly emerged and split into two models; one larger than the other, this provides an interesting direct light upwards but also indirect light downwards over the base of the lamp. The Romb lamp works well in small spaces such as bookshelves or window sills, and has a strong sculptural presence whether it is on or off. Romb is made of custom pressed steel with seamless edges and great attention to detail.
SIze and color
The Romb lamp is available in two sizes, the Romb 36 which is 36 cm high and the larger Romb 48, which is 48 cm high. They are available in two colors Cotton, a warm white or Cumin a warm yellow color. The Romb lamp is dimmable wih a cord dimmer.
