Lotek Lamp Classic Design Benno Premsela by Hollands Licht

The Lotek Lamp Classic was designed in 1982 by Benno Premsela is now a style icon. This design classic is also a versatile lamp because the height you can adjust. With the lamp there are various posts included which allows you to chouse the height of the lamp  The highest is 120 cm, but you can also 90 cm, 60 cm or 30 cm high. The hook of the Lotek Classic is a cube of 30 cm x 30 cm  containing the light source.  This minimalist floor lamp is a must in the house of every design lover.

LED

The recommended LED light source for the Lotek Lamp Classic is a 7 Watt LED light source corresponding to the light output of a 60 Watt conventional light bulb. The color of the light should be 2700 K, what we experience as warm white light.

Benno Premsela

Benno Premsela (1920-1997) was the son of the famous Jewish family doctor Bernard Premsela. He studied before and after World War II interior design at the “new art school”. During the war, he was forced to interrupt his study  In his minimalist work are beauty and functionality closely related. Under his leadership as Chief of the shop window and Interior Department of de Bijenkorf in Amsterdam he realised some spectacular window displays. Benno premsela has designed multiple products but his most famous design is this Lotek Lamp Classic.
