Ken sidetable Design Marcel Wanders by Quodes

The Ken sidetable is designed by Marcel Wanders for the Dutch label Quodes. The design of Ken side table is based on the Ken stool, designed by Marcel Wanders for Quodes and selected as ‘Future Classic’ by Elle Decoration in 2007. In 2009, Wanders drew this iconic Ken side table with the same base as the stool version. The Ken side table is made entirely of steel and powder coated in one matte color. Available in Light Gray (RAL7035) and Signal Brown (RAL8002). The diameter of the top is 40 cm and the height of the table is 38 cm. Other colors are available on request for projects or large numbers.

Marcel Wanders

The Ken sidetable is designed by Marcel Wanders, he is an internationally renowned contemporary Dutch designer. He graduated cum laude from the Arnhem School of the Arts. He studied at the Academies in Hasselt, Maastricht and Eindhoven. His designs are characterized by their poetic and conceptual character. The Knotted Chair was Wanders’ worldwide breakthrough, combining high-tech materials with low-tech production methods. His designs are adventurous, challenging and polarizing.
