Gap Pendant Light Design Studio Nur for Woud

The Gap Pendant light combines a raw outer shell made from powder coated metal with a feminine look on the inside, making the light seem warm and cosy. The sleek gap allows light to escape and create a graphical reflection with a golden glow from the inside. The Gap pendant light can hang on its own or in combination with more Gap pendants to increase to experience of the reflection. The Gap light designed by Studio Nur is in many ways to apply, in a series of two or three above the dining table or above a side table next to the couch. The Gap pendant light is available in two sizes, short diameter 14 cm and 20 cm long or long diameter 10 cm and 30 cm long and in two colors; white or black.

LED

The light source of the Gap Pendant light is a 4 Watt LED light source corresponding to the light output of a 25 Watt conventional light bulb. The color of the light is 2700 K, what we experience as warm white light. The LED light source is included with the Gap Pendant Light.

WOUD

On a cold night in January 2014 Mia and Torben Koed felt it was time for change. After working 30 years in production and sales of private label furniture manufacturer, they wanted to challenge themselves professionally. This was the start of the Danish label WOUD.  A brand with high ambitions and high quality rooted in Nordic Design tradition. The founding idea was to supply perfection and sharing the love for honest Design. The result is a stunning Collection.

Studio Nur.

In German, the word NUR means ‘only’ and ‘simply’ which is the essential expression of the designs from Studio Nur. The designer behind the studio, Maja Bøgh Vindbjerg, takes her inspiration from the Nordic traditions. This, along with her understanding of production methods and knowledge of the challenges and opportunities various materials afford, results in minimalistic and simple solutions in form and level of detail.
